The Rochester Raging Wheelers

I was recently introduced to The Clink Room by my good buddy and fellow designer Chris. The Clink Room is an offshoot of Plan B Branding, a design firm that specializes in building identities for professional and semi-professional sports teams. Growing up in the sports card days, I’ve always been interested in team logos and the styling behind them (who wasn’t) so this gave me a good excuse to break away from my typical MSTRPLN® style and see what I could come up with for TCR’s various competitions. This one in particular was based on a skate shop league, The SSL, and I came up with the ID for a team called The Rochester Raging Wheelers, based on skateboarding and baseball visual cues. I kinda like the way it turned out too. More looks here.
